ஆங்கில இலக்கணம்-Pronoun Part2

இந்த பதிவில் பேச்சுவழக்கில் use ஆகும் மேலும் சில வகையான Pronouns பற்றி பார்க்கலாம். என்ன வகையான pronoun என்பது முக்கியமல்ல. ஆனால் கீழே உள்ள Table களை ஒருமுறை படித்து நினைவில் வைத்துக்கொள்ளவும்.

1.Reflexive pronoun:
        The words myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves and themselves are reflexive pronouns.

Example:
1.My brother built this computer himself (என் அண்ணன் அவனே இந்த computer செய்தான்)
2.We baked the cake by ourselves. ( நாங்களே இந்த cake செய்தோம் )

2.Demonstrative Pronouns:
        பொருட்களை குறிப்பிட்டு சொல்ல demonstrative pronoun use ஆகிறது.  The words this, that, these and those are demonstrative pronouns.

Note: 
1.These, Those இவற்றிற்கு பதிலாக They என்பதையும் பயன்படுத்தலாம்.
2.Use this and these when you are talking about things near you.
3. Use that and those when you are talking about things farther away.
Example:
1.These are my books.( இவை என்னுடைய புத்தகங்கள் )
2.This is my desk. ( இது என்னுடைய மேசை)
3.They are my friends. ( அவர்கள் என்னுடைய நண்பர்கள் )


3.Interrogative Pronouns:
        கேள்வி கேட்பதற்கு Interrogative pronouns use ஆகிறது. The words who,whose, what, which and whom are interrogative pronouns.

Example:
 1.Whose pen is this? (யாருடைய பேனா இது? )
2. What is your brother’s name? ( உன்னுடைய தம்பியின் பெயர் என்ன? )


4.Inedefinite Pronouns:
        Most indefinite pronouns express the idea of quantity.

Exercise 1: Fill with the suitable demonstartive pronouns(this,that,these,those)
Henry and I went for a walk on the beach. “What’s _____ over there?” I asked. “It looks like broken glass,” said Henry. He gave me a bag. “Put it in _______,” he said. I put the broken glass into the bag. “We’d better put ____ in the trash,” I said. He took the bag from me. “You have to hold it like _______ ,” said Henry, “so that you don’t cut your hand.”

Exercise 2: Fill with the suitable pronouns(mine, yours, his, hers, ours and theirs)

  3. Good work சிவ சதிஷ். Though, I noticed a couple of mistakes.
    It should have been "What is the date today?" and "Can Julie use your bike? Hers is broken."
