Many of us in South Africa are in a similar boat as many here. We have Tamils that are fluent in English but don't know how to read an alphabet in Tamil, nor can we converse freely. Yet, we want to and try but, we lack practice due to the lack of interaction. If you could join my blog and I will set up a post where you can converse in English and I will correct you and, I will attempt Tamil and you assist me. I teach the little Tamil I learn through my blog, via Romanized (English) script. Please visit my blog www.semmaionline@mywapblog.com. I'm also on fb and twitter as Kaalan Semmai. nânDRi.
